Instruction (BIG PHOTO)/Keyring

how make the key ring 'rabbit Jung' D.I.Y

Prepare the cut-out toe sections of the socks.

A-will be used for its body and legs.

B-will be used for its head and ears.

Turn the sock “A” inside out and trace the cardboard cut-out of the leg onto the sock.

(If available, draw with a water-soluble pen)

Using the Backstitch method, sew along the traced lines. Leave some slack all along the stitched area and

 cut the legs out.

Turn it inside out.

Stuff the cotton in the sock while shaping its foot.

(Use forceps, if available, to better help with stuffed in cotton.)

Insert the squeaker in the cotton stuffing.

hold it in a good position.

Do a Running stitch across the opening

of the sock to fully envelop the cotton,

leaving 0.5cm of slack.

Sew it in like the picture.

Take out sock “B”. Measure 8-9cm from the toe up and cut it like its pictured (horizontally).

The red vertical line on the picture only indicates the height of the measurement, not where it should be cut.

The toe section will be used for the face, and the other short end will be used for its ears.

Take the short end of the cut, measure it against the pink sock and cut it in an equivalent size.

Use the cardboard cut-out and trace it onto the sock.

 (both pink and grey).

(Using water-soluble pen if available)

Cut along the traced line, but leave 0.5cm of room along the line for sewing later on.

Put the grey and pink sock cut-out on top of each other,

with the traced drawing line facing outwards on both sides.

Backstitch along the traced lines,

leaving an opening on the bottom of its ear.

(as indicated in red circle in the picture).

After it’s done, turn the ear inside out so that the stitched line and slacks are not visible.

Repeat the same for the other ear.

(Use forceps,

if available, to better help with turning the ears inside out)

Take the toe section of sock “B” and sew a Running stitch along the opening end of the sock

so that it could work as a purse string.

Stuff the cotton in the sock.

Pull the thread to enclose the stuffed cotton.

Pull it gently so the thread does not break.

Sew the sock so that there is no space for cotton to pop out.

(just like the picture)

Draw in the bunny’s eyes, nose, and mouth.

(Use a water soluble pen if available)

In the area indicated with red circle in the picture.

 (under the bunny’s chin),

cut a small hole with scissors.

Make a small hole where its eyes would be.

Screw in the black screw in the hole.

Push the screw (eye) into its socket until

you hear the “click” sound.

Use the hole made in #20 (under the chin)

to insert the socket for the receiving end of the screw.

Repeat the same for the other eye.

(Repeat the same directions as #21 through #23 )

Whipstitch the face and body together.

Pinch the side of its body and make an arm by sewing a Runningstitch along the inner pinching line. Sew the same Running-stitch on the other side.

Fold the ear vertically (that we made in #14)

and stitch it once on the bottom so it does not spread apart.

Set the ear on the desired spot and Whipstitch it on.

It is convenient to pin the ear on, and then do the stitching.

Repeat the same for the other ear.

Use a thicker yellow thread to Embroider stitch the nose horizontally.

Sew it loosely so it does not pinch the fabric.

(tip to this sewing method is on SOCKSPLZ YOUTUBE channel.)

Use a thicker black thread to embroider

in the mouth shaped like it’s pictured.

Use a thicker black thread to embroider in the mouth shaped like it’s pictured.

Whipstitch the tail on the bunny.

(It’s also convenient to glue it on using a glue gun, if available)

Sew in the label with a yellow thread.

Stitch in the key chain ring on top of its head.

(We provide copper key ring)

And it’s

complete
