Instruction (BIG PHOTO)/Keyring

How make the key ring 'Mini Anda' D.I.Y (KIT)

Prepare the toe section of the sock as pictured

Turn the cut out sock inside out.

Use the cardboard cut out of Mini Anda legs to trace it onto the sock.

(If available, draw with a water-soluble pen.)

Use the Backstitching method to sew along the lines you traced for its legs. Do not stitch the opening of the sock where it’s been cut before.

Cut along the stitched line 0.5cm apart.

Turn the sock inside out.

Insert the cotton and shape its legs.

(Use forceps, if available, to better help shaping with stuff in cotton.)

Insert the squeaker into the cotton.

Hold it in a good position.

Sew a Runningstitch across the opening of the sock to fully envelop the cotton, leaving 0.5cm of slack.

Sew it in like the picture.

Cut and prepare the white sock as pictured.

Sew, using the Runningstitch method

 across one open end.

Pull the end of the stitched thread gently,

push the puckering/gaping end of the sock

 inwards and sew it in.

 (use #12 - #14 pictures as a reference)

Stuff the cotton into the sock.

Sew a Runningstitch across the open end

to enclose the cotton in the sock,

 leaving 0.5cm of slack between

the stitching and the opening.

Gently pull the stitched thread.

Push and stuff the stitched end inward

Sew the sock so that there is no space

for cotton to pop out.

On the wrinkled part of the sock,

use a scissor to make a small hole

just big enough to insert your finger.

Draw the eyes, nose, and mouth.

(Use a water soluble pen if available)

Make a small hole on where its eyes would be.

Screw in the black screw in the hole.

Using the hole cut in #15,

use the bolt nut to fasten and adjust the other end of the screw in place.

Repeat the same for the other eye.

(Repeat directions #17 through #19 )

Prepare the other cut-out of the grey sock.

Use one of the opening to cover

 the premade sock-face half way.

Whipstitch the grey sock along its face.

(guidelines to Whip-stitching is indicated on SOCKSPLZ YOUTUBE.

Just like the picture

Using the runningstitch method, stitch the other end of the open sock closed.

Finish it in the same way as picture #8 or #13.

Whip-stitch the face and body together.

Pinch the side of its body and make an arm by sewing a Runningstitch along the inner pinching line.

Do the same Runningstitch in the other side.

Use the remainder of grey sock fabric to trace the cardboard cut-out of the ear

(Use a water-soluble pen if available)

Use the remainder of pink sock fabric to trace the cardboard cut-out of the ear,

(Use water-soluble pen if available)

Cut along the traced lines 0.5cm apart.

Cut along the traced lines 0.5cm apart.

Put the grey and pink ear cut out together. The traced lines should face outwards on both sides.

Backstitch along the traced lines,

leaving an opening on the bottom of its ear.

(as indicated in red circle in the picture).

Turn the ear inside out so that the stitched line and slacks are not visible.

Repeat the same for the other ear.

(Use forceps, if available, to better help with turning the ears inside out)

Fold the ear vertically (as pictured) and stitch it once on the bottom so it does not spread apart.

Set the ear on the desired spot

and whipstitch it on.

(It is convenient to pin the ear on,

and then do the stitching.)

Repeat the same for the other ear.

Using brown thread (or whichever color you desire), sew the nose and mouth onto its face using the Embroidery-stitching method.

Paint in whatever color you choose onto its cheeks and nose to make it look more lively and adorable.

Whipstitch the tail on.

(It’s more convenient to glue it on with a glue gun if available)

Label with yellow thread.

Stitch in the key chain ring on top of its head.

 (We provide copper key ring)
