Instruction (BIG PHOTO)

How make the name is 'Anda' D.I.Y

1. Prepare the white sock by cutting the top and bottom,

leaving only the heel as pictured.

2. Take one of the sock ends and start sewing it,

pulling the stitched thread gently and leaving a small pucker.

3. Push the puckering end of the sock inwards and sew it in.

Gently pull the stitched thread to close the whole.

4. Stuff the sock with cotton.

5. Sew a Running-stitch across the opened end to enclose the cotton in the sock, leaving 0.5cm of slack between the stitching and the opening.

Gently pull the stitched thread.

6. Push and stuff the stitched end inward

Sew the sock so that there is no space

for cotton popping out or exposed.

7.On the a wrinkled part of the sock, use a scissor to make a small hole just big enough to insert your finger.

(This will be used for section #29)

8. Now prepare the Charcoal sock by turning it inside out

9. Mark as shown below.

(If available, draw with a water-soluble pen)

(will be used for its head, torso, ears, and tail)

10. Measure 7.5cm from ankle and cut it as shown in picture (The head part).

Use the cardboard cut out of the legs,

ears and tail to trace it onto the sock with water soluble pen.

(if available)

11. Using the Backstitching method, sew along

the lines you traced for its legs.

12. Cut the toe section of the sock.

13. Leave some slack along the stitched area and

Cut the “legs” out but do not cutting its “ears” part.

14. Cut along the traced lines, 0.5cm apart.

15. Prepare the pre-cut pink sock supplied and cart board cut out

16. Using the cardboard cut-out,

trace the “ears” on the pink sock.

Cut along the traced lines but 0.5cm apart.

17. Put the grey and pink ears cut out together.

The traced lines should face outwards on both sides.

18. Use the Back-stitch method along the traced lines to stitch

the eras together leaving an opening on

the bottom of its ear.

(as indicated in red circles in the picture).

19. After it’s done, turn the ear inside out so that

the stitched line and slacks are not visible.

Repeat the same for the other ear.

(Use forceps, if available, to better help with turning the ears inside out)

20. Now get all the made parts from

 the white and charcoal socks.

21. Use opening of charcoal sock (A shown above) to cover

the white sock (B shown above) half way.

22. Using the Runningstitch method,

stitch the other end of the open sock closed.

23. Finish it in the same way as pictures #5- #6

25. Pull it gently so the thread does not break.

26. Draw eyes, nose, and mouth.

(Use a water-soluble pen if available)

27. Use an ice pick, thin screwdriver or something with a sharp point to make small holes where its eyes will go.

28. Screw in the black screw in the hole.

29. Using the hole cut in section #7 of the instructions, use the bolt nut to fasten and adjust the other end of the screw in place. Push the screw (eye) into its socket until you hear the “click” sound.

30. Repeat the same for the other eye.

(Repeat the same directions as #26 through #28)

31. Using the Whipstitch method, stitch the charcoal sock along its face.

32. Insert the cotton and shape its legs and torso.

33. Sew in the opening, enclosing the cotton in the sock.

34. Pull the end of the stitched thread gently,

push the puckering/gaping end of the sock inwards

 and sew it in.

(Finish it in the same way as picture #5 - #6 & #22 - #24)

35. Using the Whipstitch method,  stitch the face and body together.

36. Using the Runningstitch method on the tail,

stuff with a little cotton and sew along the edge.

37. Using the Whipstitch method, sew the tail onto the body.

38. The tail should be sewed onto the center of the back.

39. Fold the ear vertically (as pictured)

and stitch it once on the bottom so it does not spread apart.

40. Set the ear on the desired spot and Whipstitch it on to the head.

It is convenient to pin the ear on and then do the stitching.

41. Repeat the same for the other ear.

42. Your SOCKSPLZ should like the picture and

stand using its tail for support.

43. Pinch the side of its body and make arms

by using the  Runningstitch method along the inner pinching line.

44. Do the same Runningstitch on both side.

45. Using brown thread (or whichever color you desire),

sew the nose and mouth onto its face using Embroidery stitching method.

46. Paint the nose and cheeks with whichever Blush color you choose.
